The worship and ministries of First Presbyterian are open to anyone. If you’d like to join us for worship, or come alongside us in service, or take one of our classes, we would love to have you. After getting to know us, we invite you to consider making First Presbyterian your church home. Joining the church simply means that you’ve decided to join us on our shared faith journey and that you’d like to contribute to our shared ministry. It’s as simple as filling out a membership form and placing your membership by …
- Profession of faith and baptism
If you’ve never been baptized, you can join by professing your faith in Jesus Christ and being baptized.
- Reaffirmation of faith
If you’ve been baptized previously, you can join by reaffirming the baptismal vow that you believe in Jesus Christ.
- Transfer of letter
If you are currently a member of a church that transfers membership to other churches, you can join by transferring your letter.
We also offer periodic classes for New Members (for those who have recently joined or anyone interested in learning more about the church). Check the calendar for the next date that a class is offered.
In addition, the pastor is willing to meet with you any time to answer questions and help you make your own decisions in considering your faith journey and church membership.
